My name is Wanda Baer, and I’m the owner of Baer Paws Pet Sitting. I established my business in 2010, and thoroughly enjoy what I do for a living. It’s a privilege to provide pet care for people who love their pets as much as I love mine.
After losing Chance in April of 2012 to Addison Disease and Snowball in November 2013 from kidney failure due to her pulmonary hypertension, Indiana needed a companion.
I adopted Wolfie, a three-year-old terrier mix in January 2014, from Mystery Dog Rescue. He was a very shy boy and did not like men, for reasons unknown. But after just a few months, he became very attached to my husband! The same year we adopted Wolfie, he had to have emergency back surgery and was diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease. We continue to watch him closely.
He loves to give his big sister, Indiana, a hard time and if he gets too rough with her she lets him know it. Indiana can still melt your heart with her eyes. She loves to play ball and is always eager to get a treat.
In the spring of 2018, we added a new addition to the Baer family. Our new girl, Zinah is a West Siberian Laika and is eager to learn. At the time of writing this, she is 3 months old and I am very excited how quickly she picks things up.
Luca, our Karelian Bear Dog, was born on November 1, 2016 and came to us when he was two months old. He is very well behaved and gets lots of compliments when taken out in public. We are continuing to train him; getting him socialized with other dogs and getting him familiar with people and small children. My goal is to train him for search and rescue or as a therapy dog.
With my experience of having two dogs on medications that needed monitoring, along with their strict exercise plans, I know how important routine is for our pets. So, let me help keep your pets on their schedules and you will have the peace of mind knowing your babies are well cared for.
