Hi welcome to Baer Paws. My name is Wanda Baer. I usually like to have three to four days before you leave on vacation so we can have time to set up an in home consultation to meet you and your pets. My Initial consultation is complimentary. At this time we will customized the plans for your pet(s). Prices are based upon the number of pet(s) you have and the number of visits that will be required. Dogs always get two visits.
When I come to your home to discuss which plan is best for your pet(s), I will follow your routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding, watering, exercising and any medication that might be required. I will also spend quality time with your pet(s). (For example playing ball, petting or brushing).
I will keep an eye on your home by bringing in your mail and newspapers. I can also alternate lights, open and close curtains/blinds. If your house or patio plants need to be watered, I can assist you with this.

The reason I started my business is the love I have for animals, especially my dogs. I feel fortunate for all of the dogs that have come into my life. They have all been rescues and a couple in pretty bad shape. They have been the most loving and faithful creatures and I can always depend on them for a warm and happy greeting.
Unfortunately there are so many animals that are put down daily which is a very sad subject to think about. It is important to realize that there are so many adoption organizations and shelters out there with loads of loving animals. So instead of going to a pet store or breeder, just look at your local organizations when you are going to adopt a pet. In my Pet Resources, Alamo Area Partners for Animal Welfare is just one. Check them out. There are many animals needing a home desperately and just have days to live. It would bring much happiness to many to be able to save some of these lovable creatures. So just check them out, there might be one that catches your eye.
The most important thing to me is to keep your animal safe and sound until you arrive back home. It would be a pleasure and honor entrusting me with your pets.
